Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. The 68th edition of the Miss World pageant was held on 8 December 2018 at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Manushi Chhillar of India crowned her successor Vanessa Ponce of Mexico at the end of the event.

She is the first Mexican woman to win Miss World and was also crowned Miss World Mexico 2018 on 5 May 2018 at Salón Imperial de Villa Toscana, Sonora. She has completed her Degree in International Business and is currently on the Board of Directors of a Rehab centre for girls and volunteers for ‘Migrantes en el Camino’. She is a speaker for the National Youth Institute as well as working as a model and a presenter.
1ST RUNNER UP:
Nicolene Pichapa Limsnuka (Thailand)
She is first ever 1st Runner-up at the Miss World stage and has also won the title of Miss Thailand World 2018. She is a student Majoring in Business and Administration and has also received the ‘President’s Volunteer Service Award’ from former President Barack Obama.
