National Film Awards

The National Film Awards is the most prominent film award ceremonies in India.It was first held in the year 1954. Every year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry, and the award ceremony is held in New Delhi, where the President of India presents the awards.The National Film Awards are presented in two main categories: Feature Films and Non-Feature Films. This year it was held on 9th August at Vigyan Bhavan , New Delhi.
