Manasa Varanasi was crowned the winner of Miss India 2020 pageant on Wednesday. She will go on to represent India at the 70th Miss World pageant in December 2021.

When she’s not out there competing for crowns, the beauty queen is working as a financial information exchange analyst. Varanasi is a Vasavi College of Engineering alumnus. She was a shy child, but fond of Bharatanatyam and music. Her interests today include reading, yoga and staring at the sky. Her favourite quote reportedly is is, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
